Esmé Patterson and DJ Alisha Sweeney graced the Open Air-waves at 9:30 this morning with a delightful interview where they discussed Esme’s current plans and successes, including her latest project in which she’s writing songs in response to famous songs about women – think Eric Clapton’s “Layla” – but she’s writing them from the woman’s perspective.

Check it out at the Open Air website, and also stay tuned tomorrow from 4-5 PM! Her latest album, All Princes, I, has made it into Off the Charts: OpenAir Listener’s Poll Countdown! Alisha counts down your Top 20 albums of 2012 from the OpenAir Listener’s Poll!

*******it also re-airs on Sun at 1pm.
