You can help us help the Joshua School by smothering your burrito, through donations, and by attending a few events at our DU location.

During the entire month of April (Autism Awareness Month), Illegal Pete’s will be working to extinguish the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder by raising funds for The Joshua School through the Smother Autism Program. Illegal Pete’s will be donating $1 to The Joshua School every time a customer smothers their burrito and will also give customers an opportunity to donate $1 in exchange for a leaf that helps grow the abilities of all and can be signed and displayed in stores. Our mobile ordering app, Pete’s Mobile, will give customers the chance to “round up” your order as a straight donation.

The Illegal Pete’s DU location will be hosting two events to support the program. A Smother Autism Party takes place on Saturday, April 14th from 8pm to close. Customers can donate $15 in return for all you can drink Coors and Coors Light, or donate $25 for all you can drink Odell’s and Coors. Local bands, the music of Robert Harrison, and Days of Rae, will perform at the event. On Thursday, April 26th, local artist, The Epilogues will be playing a benefit concert at this location.

Supporting sponsors of these events include Niman Ranch, Coors, Odell’s, and Splick It.
