Illegal Pete’s Restaurants have announced that they will release the forthcoming album by Denver band The Epilogues through their Greater Than Collective Label.

Illegal Pete’s/Greater Than, who have previously released albums by Snake Rattle Rattle Snake and comedian Ben Roy, hopes the partnership with The Epilogues will serve as a continuation of the collective’s goal to raise the artistic profile of the city of Denver and further cultivate the success of the city’s musicians and artists.

The Epilogues – comprised of Chris Heckman (vocals/guitar), Nate Hammond (keys), Jason Hoke (drums), and Jeff Swoboda (bass) – have been avid supporters of Illegal Pete’s; playing the shops’ stages, performing at their annual Starving Artists Parties at SxSw and even dominating a recent Illegal Pete’s sponsored arm wrestling competition. The release of the album is the next step in a relationship that should prove symbiotic to everyone involved.

Since it’s inception in 2004, The Epilogues have shown a tireless work ethic that can be directly correlated to their growing number of accolades which include: Westword’s “Best Modern Rock Band”, KTCL’s Hometown For The Holidays, Westword’s Best Of The West, KTCL’s Big Gig winners, and more.

The band’s forthcoming release, which still is untitled, was recorded by JP Manza at Colorado Sound Studio and features the phenomenal single, “The Fallout,” which was featured on Greater Than’s first release, Denver Delicious, a compilation featuring 18 of Denver’s best bands. The group also recently shot a video for the song which they hope will have the same breakout success as their last video for the song, “Hunting Season.”

Pete Turner said of the signing, “We are so excited to be working with The Epilogues. They personify what we love about our Denver music scene: they make incredible music, they work hard, and they have the best attitude about making music. And they are really great guys who we see in Illegal Pete’s all the time.”
