Illegal Pete’s and Breckenridge Brewery are excited to announce two events in partnership with Google Plus, The Underground Music Showcase, and Open Air. We are calling the events Google Hangouts as we are inviting everyone to come and hang out with some of our favorite bands playing this year’s UMS. 10 acts will be interviewed live by Corey Jones and Alisha Sweeney of Open Air. Ian Cooke and Chris Heckman of the Epilogues will close out each night with a short acoustic set. These interviews and performances will be streamed live through Google Plus and later posted on Youtube. UMS will be on hand to sell $25 4 day passes and to do giveaways. Breckenridge Brewery will be on sale for $3.00 pints and will also be doing giveaways. And you will be able to hang out with some of your favorite bands and Open Air DJs. Here’s the info:
Monday, July 2nd at Illegal Pete’s Downtown (1530 16th St) – Google Hangout with Ian Cooke, You Me and Apollo, Flashlights, Flashbulb Fires, and In The Whale (Ian Cooke will end the night with a set) – Starts at 8pm, is FREE, and All Ages (RSVP via Facebook)
Monday, July 9th at Illegal Pete’s DU (1744 E Evans Ave) – Google Hangout with The Epilogues, Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, The Swayback, Mancub, and the Photo Atlas (Chris Heckman of the Epilogues will end the night with an acoustic set) – Starts at 8pm, is FREE, and All Ages
